darren tate is an international producer and dj from london. as a classically trained musician, darren earned his reputation as one of europe's leading producers, working with a wide range of international artists and writers. he is also one of the world's most successful dance producers, with global hits under the pseudonyms jurgen vries ('the theme', 'wilderness'), angelic ('it's my turn', 'can't keep me silent'), orion ('eternity', 'see mee here'), citizen caned ('the journey') and most recently dt8 project ('the sun is shining down on me'), including a number #3 top 40 uk hit with charlotte church ('the opera song').
the highly anticipated dt8 project album 'perfect world' was released in fall 2007 and is one of the most inspired and original electronica albums of the year. the album includes the hits 'winter', 'hold me till the end', and features exclusive performances by international artists, including gavin rossdale ('fallen) and mory kante ('narama').
