In the spring 1917 Finnish club scene was on the verge of revolution due to rave casualties and internal genre-defining problems. All this caused a huge agitation inside the scene and After Hours took advantage of that and started probing for possibilities for independence. While the scene was trying to re-organize, it wasn't willing to let After Hours freely re-define the nature of their existence.
Due all the hassle in the scene, After Hours was anyways able to build its autonomic sound and atmosphere an
d after the Red October (also known as the October Revolution) all the old structures sort of fell apart and in the November of 1917 After Hours decided to take the lead into their own hands.
In the 4th of December 1917 After Hours declared its independence and when this declaration passed in 6th of December it was to be the independence day of After Hours.
After 105 years After Hours is still going strong and now we are inviting you all to our annual ball in the presidential castle called Club Venue. This evening will be hosted by president Antti Rasi with supreme commander Orkidea, honor centurion Orion and generals Ateah Fall, Jekaterina & Osqu.
So dress with dignity, lose it on the dance floor and rave like it's 1917!
