The Dreadmark parties have gained a legendary reputation in Jyväskylä’s musical underworld. The crew’s most recent endeavours include Natty @ Ruma, as well as some absolutely heavy hitting events in the legendary venue Ilokivi. Now is the time for Dreadmark Weekend, a two-day celebration of broken beats and basslines! Friday sees the Dreadmark boys take over the Tampere clubbing hotspot, Club10. On Saturday it’s time to bring the show back to Jyväskylä and Ilokivi with some very special guest DJs.

Esc aka Escher has been DJing and making music for over a decade now. In 2000 he co-founded Club Kongo, the first ever D&B weekly in Finland and has since had residencies in various clubs such as Breakbits, Cut, Pressure and Void. Last year iDJ Recordings released Esc’s debut single and lately he has been working in the studio with Mineral and Subsense. He says he loves, among other things, fat breaks, roaring basslines, ethereal soundscapes, klings and klongs and good coffee. And we salute him for that.

TRAONE
Traone aka Henryk Helsky is an ex-bedroom DJ and music enthusiast from Tampere Finland. He has done some experimenting in the studio with jungle and hip hop tunes in late 1990′s, and has always been a strong supporter of the Finnish Drum’n Bass and electronic music scene. You can catch him spinning tunes at Void-events at various venues in Tampere.
