- The main weekly resident for legendary The Gallery at Ministry of Sound in London. One of the original Turnmills resident DJs for over 6 years. Producer with a worldwide support from A-list spinners and releases on such labels as Armada and Vandit. True specialist of future tech and tribal sounds, never failing to amase the crowds with his multiscale sets. Touring the globe back and forth with regular gigs in UK, Russia, Italy, Spain, USA and Baltics. Has played in Finland several times, last visit being a headline slot smashing the sold out Jack! in Helsinki. Ladies and gentlemen, for a headline slot please welcome the true London clubbing expert, Gavyn Mytchel!

SERGEI SHKUROFF ( Armada, Spinnin, Madwave )

- Celebrating his 12th year of DJing in 2011, Sergei Shkuroff has been the main resident for Madwave since its very beginning in a dark cellars of Pori in 1999. Arguably the most known Russian DJ in Finland, Sergei has during past decade been a regular guest at all leading Finnish dance events, such as Laserpoint and Pacifique, and also successfully imported his trademark sound to the global clubs like Amnesia and Eden on Ibiza, Ministry of Sound and Storm in UK, Beautiful Things and BeeFree in Slovakia, to name a few. In Turku Sergei has played his debute set at Millennium back in early 2000s, and is always very pleased to be back in this lovely city.
Your trusted resident devil will play the closing set, so prepare to dance till the end!

BAIKONUR ( X-Rust, Luna )

- True dance music enthusiast and the person behind numerous events in Turku area, including strong LUNA parties. Recently signed as a resident to one of Finland's longest running club brands X-Rust. Playing regularly across the country, including such shows as Koneisto. City-Lehti DJ Contest 2010 winner. Baikonur will start the night with a nice blend of tech house with slightly progressive twist in it. Don't stay home, arrive early!

GAVYN MYTCHEL // Madwave interview

Madwave: Hello Gavyn! How are things in London? How did 2011 picked up for you so far?

Gavyn: Hello, Yes its a lovely sunny day in London which has put a smile on my face after the cold winter, cant wait for the summer! 2011 has been very busy so far with my gallery commitments and playing abroad. I have a new website www.gavynmytchel.com which i have been working on and new sound, which i will be playing in Finland.

Madwave: You have been rocking Finland several times before, what do you have to say about our clubbing scene? Any memorable things from previous Finland visits?

Gavyn: I have played Finland 3 times before and enjoyed all 3 gigs, nice friendly people and up for it crowd. I remember playing in Turku and coming out of the club at 3am, and the sky was really bright, not seen that before!!!

Madwave: You have made yourself a worldwide name as a trance dj originally, but we know you have evolved to more deeper layers nowadays. Please describe your current sound?

Gavyn: I used to play trance for many years, but as i got older I slowed down playing progressive and tech house. I have been on warm up dutys for the past 3 years at The Gallery at Ministry of Sound, which i really like. I love setting the night up for the big djs, but dont worry, i have all the tracks, so if it needs to be trance, i will deliver trance! I would not want to spoil anyones night out!

Madwave: You have been The Gallery main resident for many years now, first at Turnmills and now at Ministry of Sound. Which venue you think works best, MoS or Turnmills (R.I.P)?

Gavyn: Turnmills worked best because of the size and layout of the club, plus we got the djs alot cheaper, now its moved to Ministry and its grown a lot more in every way which is also good, it needed the move! Otherwise i think i would of got tired and gave up 2 years ago but now we are ministry we have upped our game and The Gallery is stronger and bigger, making the massive statement of the best and biggest Friday night in the UK

Madwave: Your most amasing show in 2010-2011? Any upcoming gigs you are strongly waiting to play at?

Gavyn: I only played a few gigs last year out of Ministry they were ok, but this year i'm looking at getting back into full effect with new music and more european club shows, i cant wait for Cocoon Lounge in Bahrain that is always a good night and Madwave of course!!

Madwave: We know you have been busy in studio lately, your new releases did very good worldwide now. What is to be expected from you producing wise in 2011?

Gavyn: I will be making a range of deep house and tech house tracks and remaking some club classic for years back.

Madwave: This is your first appearance at Madwave, what expectations do you have for the night?

Gavyn: I have heard good things about the club night and cant wait to board the plane, I'm looking at getting there early and having a few drinks and checking out the other djs as well, i think i was taken to a little afterparty last time i was in turku, some mad bar.
