Liquid Crystal Sounds return for Part III, to be held at Turkus Raatihuone Underground. Last event saw Irelands DJ talent Stephen Porter jet over to Finland to spin what some have described as an outstanding 3 hour technical and musical performance!. It was certainly a night to remember! However, we continue after this success and look forward to the next part of the saga: Movement on Saturday February 24th 2007.
With the first two events concentrating more on an International Headline DJ, this time we pause and provide an almost all domestic line-up. We bring three Finnish DJing trademarks to set you on an emotional voyage of electronic music. Orion (Misc.fi), Jussi Soro (Enhanced, Choon!) and Josh (Fresh Talent) will all be slamming out underground beats to provide a full-on yet once again, intimate atmosphere! 7 hours of the tastiest provocative uplifting sounds of Trance, Progressive, Electro and House.

"Before settling down in the capital of Finland, Helsinki, during autumn 2006, Orion has already been involved in electronic music culture for more than a decade. Starting in the early 90s, where rave culture was at its peak. The spirit of illegal raves / warehouse parties formed the ground on which he still stands.While living over 5 yrs in Rovaniemi, Orion has strongly influenced the electronic music culture of the north. As one of the key figures of their club scene he has hosted, promoted and produced countless club nights, events and DJ-based concerts! Tirelessly pushing forward the culture and the music as a DJ and promoter.
During his lengthy career, Orion has performed in many of the biggest domestic parties with a countless number of Finnish and foreign artists, live-acts and DJs. He has been performing at Koneisto, the biggest electronic music festival in Northern Europe, Hallmark, the biggest regular club in Scandinavia and Time Tunnel, one of the oldest and most respected annual events in Finland - to mention a few.
Alongside DJ'ing, Orion has worked on some different fields of electronic music as well. He has produced music for multimedia productions, events and theatre plays. Furthermore Orion produces and promotes regular club nights and events all over Finland. Orions definitive sound involves a blend of styles and genres; to build the set up with house & trance vibes and vitalize it with breakbeat and techno. On the era of digital music, he doesn't just rely on the easiness of the latest MP3-releases. Expect a performance covering all angles of electronic music!"

"Jussi Soro is currently one of Finlands most in demand DJs having played for international brands such as Godskitchen, Sundissential and Ministry Of Sound as well as Finlands biggest clubs such as Hallmark, Millennium and Illusions alongside some of the largest names in Trance. 27 year old Jussi comes from Turku in Finland and has been awarded numerous accolades at the Finnish Club Awards, as well as maintaining residencies at 'Choon!' and 'Essence'. As well as this, he has been producing under the names Jussi Soro and Miikka & Jussi. Jussis musical style is uplifting Trance influenced by Progressive House, Goa Trance, Techno and Electro. His first release on Five AM was a collaboration with Miikka Leinonen and it made record of the month in Mixmag. Since then Jussi has built a solid ground on producing, and is busy remixing and working with such names as Jan Johnston and Matt Darey to name a few."

"Johannes, aka: Josh, began his musical career at the tender age of only six years old. His early involvement with playing the drums bought an excellent sense of rhythm which fused other future goals. However, it wasn't until the mid-90's that he was bitten by synthesizer music causing an unstoppable slide into the deeper world of electronic beats. Johannes discovered some of the more Euro-Progressive beats alongside the rapidly rising Trance genre. Sweden being an influencial country with his eye caught on Earthbound, Antiloop etc.. In the latter stages of the millenium, after becoming totally fascinated by the productional work of artists such a Ferry Corsten and Way Out West, Johannes signed and sealed his first DJ-setup and immediately strived to exercise his skills on mixing. Not only that, Johannes has been playing with the productional side of electronic music. Already making some nice tracks and hot mash-ups, he's one to watch in the future! In the spotlight, this talent has shown his face at Finnish clubs, like 'Choon!' based in Turku, gathering the full attention of the crowd and being complimented by some top producers. Johannes has also had his tasty sets aired on YleX, ETN.fm and Sirius Satellite Radio. You can certainly expect a harmonious mixture of uplifting, dark, powerful and refreshing sounds combined with an energetic beat and endlessly rolling basslines. A DJ to admire!"

Born in London, Progression's connectivity with electronic music began in the late 80's. In 1994, at just 14yrs old, his DJ career kicked off with the purchase of turntables! He became the instigator of organising illegal parties for many years until in 1998 the big break came. Progression launched two club nights in West London. He became a 5-year resident Hauling in the droves and played alongside DJ legends such as Tall Paul, Scott Bond, Jean-Jaques Smoothie and Timmy Deluxe. A move to Finland came in 2003 with his DJ career continuing in cities such as Helsinki, Turku and Tampere. Now 26 yrs old, Progression co-runs his own underground club night 'Liquid Crystal Sounds' where he plays alongside some of finest UK and Finnish DJs. His sets consisting of Trance, Electro and Uplifting Progressive, with his musicizm concentrating on driving basslines and deeper expressive atmospheric breakdowns. One DJ who never goes unnoticed!
