We proudly present to you a brand new talent - Namosh, from our all time favourite label Bungalow Records, former home of artists such as Peter Thomas, Spring, Combustible Edison, Saint Etienne, Momus, Le Hammond Inferno, the Experimental Pop Band and Stereo Total.
While Berlin's vibrant music scene is currently getting more and more attention, it's time to have a look at some of the artists who could be the next in building Berlin's reputation after Peaches or Miss Kittin, both of whom have done a great job so far. But Turkish singer Namosh is probably the one with the most potential.
Namosh is a hard rocking, crawling, dancing, stage diving energy flash who combines wildest Electro Rock with a mad singing, screaming voice and a fat funky beat. The explosive fantastic magician is now set to release his first full-length album MOCCATONGUE on June 16th.
Namosh's record company describes him as Prince meets Iggy Pop but Fad Gadget meets Suicide would also give you a good idea of his sound. At the same time, he seems to have his very own approach to electronic music which no doubt makes him one of the most exciting international singers of our time. His live performance is more like a magical electro-punk theather.
