LUKA aka anne loponen has been one of the leading female dj´s in finland for over three years. she joined the millennium organisation in the year 2001, and later that year claimed the award for ?best new dj of the year? in the finnish club awards (platinum). she describes her style as trance / hard club trance, with a few influences from the more technoey bad boys misjah and picotto, breaks from yet still unknown producers in the uk plus the odd psy-trance tracks depending on her mood. her regular set would be melodic, uplifting and full of fat bass, faithful to the swiss / german influence from day one. she will never leave the house without a handful of classics, so there´s a chance she might play some of the tunes that are responsible for her being on that side of the booth today...
at the moment she lives in london, studying graphic design at london college of communication, but she is known to have done gigs in finland even though there´s that big lake between the two countries.. - ?soon, we shall meet again.?
