Line-up:

Millimetric (France)

M-Tronic / Goodlife
www.millimetric.com
www.myspace.com/millimetrique

François-Xavier Michel aka Millimetric is a noted French producer whose every song is worthy to be a hit-single. He has an astounding talent for mixing electro, EBM and techno. Beside his many releases Millimetric has remixed and worked with a number of other great artists like The Hacker, Adriano Canzian, The Horrorist, Solitary Experiments, David Carretta etc. At BMB you’ll have the rare opportunity to hear the most authentic French electro there is, so dance your pants off!

Detritus (United Kingdom)

Ad Noiseam
www.myspace.com/detritusdave

The British artist Detritus is one of the most important artists of the Berlin based Ad Noiseam records (Broken Note, End.User, Niveau Zero, Igorrr etc). Filigrane sound and pure in breed in his limitless fusing of styles. In Detritus you’ll find Drum’n’Bass, IDM, Industrial and Breakcore. But in later years also downtempo/trip-hop and a Dubstep-like approach to massive guitars. His fifth album "Everyday Explanations” is in the making and should see light of day by the end of the year. Dave Dando-Moore aka Detritus has given his word to perform tracks off it already in Tallinn.

Kuroshio (Finland)

www.myspace.com/kuroshiomusic

As one of the oldest Finnish dark-electro/EBM bands Kuroshio Current disbanded in 2008, their singer and front man aQi quickly took up a solo project. It didn’t take long for him to release his first single “Hacked Digital”. The CD includes two original tracks and many exciting remixes (one by ErilaZ, who performed at BMB last year). By now Kuroshio has grown into an electro-industrial trio with kicking lives and a fine tuned sound, all based on extensive experience.

Oldschool Union (Finland)

www.myspace.com/oldschoolunion

This is what Oldschool Union has to say about themselves: “Sauna, Sisu and Perkele- Seppo Ahlstedt and Janne Vilen want to catch the the Finnish essence in their hard hitting oldschool EBM. It’s about raw bass-lines, manly attitude and love for old school synthesizers and sound. To add something new to this soup, Oldschool union used their native language to successfully form the first old school EBM band in Finland. Lyrics are Finnish but the themes are global; songs about corrupted politicians and epic tails from the lives of men. Oldschool union will release their second full length album in autumn and will be playing a special set at Body Machine Body!”

Pedigree (Estonia)

PSU / Ohm Resistance
www.myspace.com/pedigree1

Feels good that our local Industrial/Downtempo pride Pedigree will be giving their only Estonian live this year at BMB. A couple of weeks before that they have the honours of performing in Finland with their long time favourite Godflesh. After the festival they will concentrate on working on their new album that will be released in the USA under Kurt Gluck’s (aka Submerged) label Ohm Resistance. To those who haven’t seen Pedigree live, trust us, they are one of the most captivating live performers there are. The fact that they’ve shared a stage with artists like Massive Attack, Dälek, Scorn, Filter, Fear Factory, Pitchshifter and even Metallica, explains a lot. Pure energy and raw power!

Holzkopf (Canada)

Million different independent labels
www.myspace.com/holzkopf
https://sites.google.com/site/holzkopf666

Jake Hardy aka Holzkopf is a Canadian composer from Saskatoon who gets physical without even bumming a cigarette off you. A mixture of drum machines blasted apart, effect pedals glazed with noise and a sick mindset for music rules over both his live performances and records. The only boundary is the sound system a club can provide and relentless red lights. A comment about Holzkopf:” Having met Holzkopf, and had the pleasure of playing a gig with him, I can never return to the old world“. It’s like that, hypnotic and unpredictable. Jake considers his bigges influences to be Coil, Atari Teenage Riot, Suicide and Takashi Miike.

Mimicry (Estonia)

http://mimicry.varjend.com
www.myspace.com/mimicrymusic

The Tartu based party magnet Mimicry buffs electroclash to a shine and shows it’s possible to combine electro and rock in a noticeable manner, being the second wave to Fischerspooner, Black Strobe and other pioneers. Besides making catchy and convincing music they give some fiery lives. No wonder, if you have a duo on stage that consists of a creative brain like Paul and a charismatic singer like Kene. We’re happy to see them getting more and more attention outside of Estonia and glad they have a chance to perform at BMB this year.

Error: Success (Estonia)

http://error-success.com

The rising young band from Tallinn, pure electro-industrial. Danceable, harsh, dismally melodic and stern female vocals to spice it up. Their digital EP “Converting Order”, released in the beginning of 2011, has received a warm welcome and everyone has a chance to download it from their homepage. A treat to those, who has a sweet spot for Unter Null, Hocico, Suicide Commando and KMFDM.
