HOUSE NOT HOUSE-klubin kolmas kerta toden sanoo, TURKU MEETS HELSINKI-iltaan saapuu kaksi åboriginaalia housen ystävää. Ilmassa on paljon kotiseuturakkautta ja tanssimista eikä lainkaan vihaamista. Illan vieraina laadukkaita uus-soul, hip hop ja house-julkaisuja puskevan Traveller Recordsin label-pomo sekä tastemaker Kojak Giant Sounds musablogin eli DJ Ionik sekä "Suomen Lil Louie Vega" eli Dj Rich joka vetää Love City Recordsia ja -miksausohjelmaa (yhdessä Dj Newhousen kanssa joka oli kuukausi sitten meidän vieraana). Third time round, our HOUSE NOT HOUSE features a border crossing theme as TURKU MEETS HELSINKI (which is like New York meets New Jersey i guess? The vibe includes some hometown hits, lots of dancing and zero hateration. Our two guests are label-running tastemakers in their own right. Dj Ionik runs his Traveller Records imprint releasing nu-soul, hip hop and house and he´s also the ears behind the marvelous Kojak Giant Sounds blog. Dj Rich is known as Lil Louie Vega of Finland so maybe that means something to you. He runs Love City Records and a mixshow by the same name together with Dj Newhouse who was visiting us last month. Our music selection is going to be house and beyond, just plain good dance music and more than just a four-on-the-floor pattern. Expect quality disco, boogie, broken beat and a little bit of techno. Come, listen and dance!
