To the spring 2007 season opening ClubZone we have invited Miika Kuisma to play his versatile DJ-set. Miika has quickly gained big reputation in Finland but he is no stranger to playing abroad as he has already performed in Germany (the all famous Love Parade), Turkey (where he toured with Tiesto himself), Netherlands, Belgium and Sweden. Miika Kuisma has released several singles and remixes including successful collaboration with Mr.A called 'Smoky Room'. Follow-up with Mr.A called 'Honey' was released through Danceteria Records in which Miika is also strongly involved with. Earlier Miika has had his schedule filled up with projects like AR52 and Fluid In Motion (both with DJ Tab). He has also released one artist album called 'Inwardgaze', the second album is about to be released during 2007. The first single 'One Step Behind The Mankind' is also coming out very soon from Subtraxx accompanied with a remix from Sied Van Riel. Miika's collaboration with OlliS called 'Awakening' was signed to famous Baroque records. Miika is also busy doing radioshows for ETN.fm, XMRadio and Frisky Radio. Besides that he has also featured as guest on several radioshows in several countries. Miika's DJ-sets are quite difficult to describe but Miika himself has given a description 'What-ever-emotional-driving-flying-grooving-and-progressive-but-no-kiksu', hopefully that will explain what we are about to experience at ClubZone season starter! Dancefloor will be warmed up by FED ry. resident deejays Max Dee and Soppa & Redjack using only the grooviest progressive/trance-tracks. Welcome to the ClubZone-experience!

Residing from Finland, Miika Kuisma, 31, has seen and accomplished a lot but this red-hot producer/dj still has his best years yet to come. Through hard work and time Miika has evolved into an all-round dj with his very own distinct sound and his sensational productions have gained the support of many industry leaders such as Tiesto, Paul van Dyk, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Oakenfold and Christopher Lawrence.
Miikas path began when he heard house music for the first time in the mid-90s and he knew that he had found something that will stay in his life until the very end. His musical career started out with some simple software on his PC and eventually took him into the professional studio environment. For past few years he has been working in the HelsinkiVibes Studio is where most of the Finnish club hits are created for the world. These premices are also home for producers like Super8, Supermodels From Paris, DJ Tab and K-System.
Miika is well known of his wide range of styles he can produce and play. Everything goes from chill-out to progressive house and even tech-trance, depending on the situation at hand. No matter what the style is his recognizable signature sound can be heard in few seconds as magical, dark atmospheric mood thats floating within the track. During the 2006 Miika has found himself more and more married with progressive house when he founded Danceteria Music label together with his close friends Supermodels From Paris and Mr.A.
The year 2005 was perhaps the busiest of his career so far due to the production and release of his debut artist album called Inwardgaze. The year 2006 will make a big difference for Miika while he is transforming himself from trance world into house world. Meanwhile his next artist album is cooking well and his latest productions are suggesting it will be quite different from the Inwardgaze.
