Great things that come from Scotland; Whiskey, Deep Fried Mars Bars and SLAM.

Their international schedule reads like any DJ's wet dream, From a residency at Fabric in London to regular slots at Berghain and Watergate, Pacha in Ibiza, D-Edge in Brazil, Exit Festival in Serbia, Sonar in Barcelona to regular tours of Australia, Asia, Europe and South America.

This is because after 20 years of performing, Slam are still at the very cutting edge of dance music. Performing on two mixers and multiple decks, their DJ performances combine all that is great in house and techno, often using their own custom edits and remixes to wow and excite the crowd into a frenzy, masters of programming, it is easy to be glued to the dance floor for their entire set, converted to their infectious futuristic beats.

Slam are more than just a couple of DJs to their native Scotland, for many - they are a way of life. Without them, Scotland's dance music scene would be a very very different place.
Their club nights - Pressure at the Arches and Return to Mono at the Sub club in Glasgow are regarded by many as the best clubs in the country, always bringing the greatest artists from across the electronic spectrum.

Every summer for the last 12 years, they've had
the honor of programming the Slam tent at Scotland's largest music festival - T in the Park - a 15,000 capacity dance tent that for two days is filled with the finest DJs, Live acts and wildest crowds you can imagine.

Their depth of taste and ear for good music doesn't stop at knowing which DJs to book, their record label Soma recently celebrated its 15th birthday and its 200th release! Launching the careers of many well known artists such as Daft Punk, Silicone Soul, Funk D'Void and Alex Smoke. Slam's own releases also came to critical acclaim, having put out four albums and countless EPs, Classic's such as Positive Education and Alien Radio still sound fresh today. Launching their new label - Paragraph, it gave them a way to to put out their club tracks more directly, it has been hailed as a huge succes, with plays and support from many of the key international players.

Glasgow is a city that lives and breathes with Dance music, it is Slam that have made it so. International ambassadors of Scottish techno - they never fail to impress.

"I have prayed at the altar of Slam. I have witnessed their eternal light. I have carried their message to heathen clubs. I have strayed from the path of righteousness and danced in the dark. Forgive me father but I cannot deny it. I have seen lights, and passing images, and even naked flesh. I have prayed at the altar of Slam - I have sinned." // Stuart Cosgrove, Channel 4
