After working for Mike Shiver at Captured Music in Sweden for summer 2008, Sami Saari got an idea to launch a label of his own. Mike got excited about this and suggested that Sami could run a brand new sub label for Captured Music.

In the fall of 2008 Sami recruited Timo Juuti (Syna / Deck Jagger) as A&R for the label. Sami, Timo and Mike worked hard to get the label up and running and November 2008 saw the birth of the label Wicked Recordings.

Some of the artists involved are Sami Saari / The Wicked Kid, Mike Shiver, Timo Juuti (Syna / Deck Jagger), Autoload & Offdate so expect stunning electro- / tech oriented music with the sweet groove of house.

joo kyllähän toi eka biisi kellistää tokan ihan kuusnolla. kerrankin melodia jota jää hyräilemään itsekseen ja vanhan progen vivahteitakin oli vaikka muille jakaa. massiv props !

Biisit on jakaneet ihan kivasti mielipiteitä, kuten feedbackistä näkyy aika monelle kakkosraita on tippunut paremmin mutta molemmat on kelvannu kiitettävästi :)

kyllähän ton podcastin ihan kuunteli mut oli siellä vähän heikompiakin valintoja seassa. voisin jopa väittää et episodi 1 oli melkein parempi kuin tää kakkonen (niinhän se on leffoissakin, paitti star warsissa..)

SAMI SAARI - BACKLASH / HURT EP OUT NOW!

It is time again to bring out new stuff from Wicked Recordings and this time we release a two track package from our very own label manager Sami Saari. Sami has never really settled on one particular genre or subgenre and this time he has gone a more melodic way.

1st of the bunch - 'Backlash' - is a progressive house track with techy influences. It relies on a simple but catchy line and a techy beat opening it self up in the huge break.

The second track called 'Hurt' is an oldie from Samis desktop drawer done in a more progressive way. It relies more on the melodies and strings calmly flowing to it's dramatic climax.

Joo toi on kyllä hyvä biisi, ja varmasti rokkaa bileissä. D-Nox & Beckers on onnistunu tekee tänä vuonna jo muutaman hemmetin tiukan remixin, mm. NOP - Cubic Loop remixi tipahti.
