Winner of Best Remixer, Best Track and Runner up of Best Producer at this years Hard Dance Awards, 23-year-old Producer Gaz West a.k.a Dark By Design, has quickly emerged as one of the UKs most talked about and in demand talents on the Hard Trance and Hard Dance scene.
There are not many artists that can boast launching their DJ career at such clubs as Goodgreef - the former Mixmag Club of the year, and, the UKs leading brand, based in Manchester; in addition to a much envied debut at the 7,000 capacity HQXL, at the Docklands, in Amsterdam in the later part 2004.
And after such an incredible positive response, Gaz has decided to really concentrate on his DJ showcases and is set to perform around the Globe, supporting and displaying his very own unique sound.
His sets are a fusion of European and UK Hard Trance and Hard Dance, often continuing for over 1 hour at a time truly an experience, and, definitely not to be missed.
Overseas DbD has rocked many key Dutch events organised by Hollands biggest dance organisations.
These include Q Dances Defqon1 & UDCs Strike One festival and world renowned Dance Valley Festival where he recently performed his debut Live set on the HQ stage to over 15000+ clubbers. This has also led him to another Exclusive Live performance in Japan for Avex at Velfare in Tokyo. Gaz has also successfully completed a 5 date tour of Australia and also debuted gigs in Norway and Germany in 2005.

Phil York is one of the fastest rising DJs on the Scottish club scene and arguably the biggest hard-dance name North of the Border. At the age of 23 he has secured residencies at Tidy and Lashed Scotland as well as being resident at his own night, Scotland biggest hard dance night, Nuklearpuppy! If this is not enough Phil is also Label manager of 5 labels, Hardtimez, Nuklearpuppy, Tranzlation, HTUK and Bootek!!
2005 has also seen new projects arising for Phil on the production front. Due to his diverse range of harder music that he plays out, Phil has recently started producing German hard trance under his guise Section 8 with his first 4 tracks being snapped up straight away by Nukleuz and Bulletproof !
With his ding career taking off with gigs all across the U.K and with Nuklearpuppy going from strength to strength with the added bonus of a lot of production behind him and being responsible for five successful labels this really will be the year for Phil Yorks career to take off to another level.
