Music has always taken a big role for Keylo. Since a little brat he has been listening to the same records as his big brother Kasio from Nu Spirit Helsinki.
At the start of 1996, Keylo started to spin with his friends and organize hip hop/funk parties because nothing was happening in his small boring hometown in eastern Finland.
At the beginning of 1999 he got a kick-start when he moved to Netherlands, which doubled his record collection and experiences and gave him his first international gigs.
In the start of 2000, Keylo and his friend Ram-eye established their collective code016. Since then they have organized together an innumerable amount of parties and spun records in nearly all of the good clubs across Finland.
Keylo then moved to Vilnius Lithuania, where here he played some of the most important gigs in his career during his erasmus semester in Vilnius University, with a little help from his flat mate and Gravity creative director Rick Heffernan. He made about 20 gigs all around in Vilnius. Most of his gigs where made in Gravity with Dj Supacide and many international super guests as dj E.A.S.E (Night Mares on Wax), Norman Jay (Good Times Sound system), Treva Whateva (Ninja Tunes) and James De La Cruz (Avalanches).
After Lithuania he moved to Switzerland for 4 months where he found a new dimension on his sound from new funky breaks as Jalapeno records, Fort Knox, dj Format, Irma Records, Dublex Inc. to mention but a few..
Nowadays he is organizing his own club events Booyakka and Darratuuba at the Green Grass bar in Tampere twice weekly where he has invited all the best dj's in Finland.
With his dj-mate Hank Holiday, they spin once a month at club Bundolo in Helsinki.
Over the years he has created his own style and sound through different styles of rhythm music. Keylo can rock a straight hiphop, funk, disco, Jamaican or break beat set or mix all elements to one solid spirit and flavour, each with its own unique and booty moving style.

History:
Hank has been a big fan of the hip hop-culture since -86. At the beginning of nineties he started collecting records and starting dj'ing in 1997. Since then he has been exceedingly addicted crate digger and turntable lover. At beginning of his obsession he spent long hours per day perfecting diligent mixing and scratching. Of course nowadays he combines it with a real job, flirting for the ladies in clothing-shop!
Style:
Hip-hop has always been a solid basis for Hank but nowadays he plays also lot of Funk/Jungle/breakbeat/downtempo/deep house/Brazilian and Jamaican sounds and he likes to bring together different styles. Scratching, beat juggling and addiction for mixing, these combine some fantastic elements for an impressive set.
"During long beat-mixes I like to do remixes of the songs which are currently playing but you cant mix songs from any part on the track, rather play it naturally to the end of the track. The next record is always important to me to keep things nicely blended and interesting for the audience.
Hank has taken part in the Beez'n honey club in Hyvinkää and nowadays with Keylo he is working as a resident in the Green Grass and doing gigs all over....
Hank says that, the best thing in his deejay'in is that he always gets lot of props after his gigs and people have been grateful.
