"Tonight (Wednesday 17th of June) is the sixth episode of my Radio Unity show on Afterhours.fm and here's some info about it. I don't think there can ever be too much of great music but in June it's bit of the case with radio mixes. Seems that there is always great tracks around summer time when everybody's trying hard to score those summer hits.

Because of that wide range of music hanging around this month's Radio Unity will be a bit of a mixed bag with styles from deep and progressive trance, through summery prog house, tech trance, bootlegs, remixed classics and pumping french electronica to old school flavored emotional trance all present! Also many of my fave artists like Vibrasphere, BT, Way Out West, Allende and Jody Wisternoff are featured.

One bad thing with the podcast is that there's always those REALLY special and hot new tracks which you can't yet play in radio or podcasts. Muistui heti tuon luettuani mieliin pari viikkoa sitten djorkidea.comista näkemäni uutispätkä Morph-remixiä koskien ja siitä seuraava lause:

"Remix should be out in June and I hope to include it to June episode of Radio Unity too. Let me know what you think if/when you hear it."

Youtubesta original mixin kuultuani en ole malttanut odottaa miltä tuo remixi kuulostaa. Kuuluu noin tunnin päästä kappaletta tai ei niin kuulolla ollaan

Mun remixiä ei ole vielä promottu Vanditin kautta joten MORPH pyysi olemaan vielä soittamatta missään radiomiksauksessa. Toivottavasti voin sisällyttää biisin Heinäkuun podcastiin. Aaaaanyways... kohta mennään! :)

There's been quite a few new up'n'coming names featured in Radio Unity this year but this month is like who's who of my alltime fave artists. Starting this Saturday (17.10.2009) my Radio Unity show will begin broadcasting on the national NRJ radio channel here in Finland. It comes out on the third Saturday of the month in the ‘NRJ At The Club’ show. So basically the weekend after my Afterhours.fm show. This week is different though as accidentally third Wednesday and Saturday don’t fit to same week.. So this time the radio show will have the mix first. The podcast will usually come out on the Sunday after the NRJ show is broadcasted. This time right after the Afterhours.fm show next week.

In the same slot 22-23 (my show is 23-24) is Heikki L’s (of Danceteria/Dallas Superstars fame) ‘Selected Trax’ show focusing on a more housey sound. NRJ at the Club has a great variety of shows rotating and it’s nice to see a major finnish radio channel fully supporting electronic dance music in the weekend evenings - which is naturally THE best time for enjoying it:) This has been in the talks for a looong time so it’s really nice to see Radio Unity returning to the FM radio waves. Big thanks to Dosse and other nice people at NRJ for the opportunity and good spirit!
