X-Rust osana Urbaani Kesäloma -tapahtumaa esittelee kahtena eri kesälauantaina (16.6. ja 14.7.) kaksi eri live-artistia, kahdessa eri paikassa. Näiden ainutlaatuisten esiintymisten ideana on soittaa tunnin ajan, kello 19-20, elektronista tanssimusiikkia livenä yllättävissä ulkoilmapaikossa Turussa.
Lauantaina 14.7. musiikista vastaa live-esiintymisellään Transistor Rhythm (X-Rust, Tku).
Transistor Rhythm bio englanniksi:
Transistor Rhythm live in the deep forests of southern Finland with their ancient synthesizers, drum machines, sequencers, samplers and vocoders. Over the years they have conducted a series of experiments with this old analogue gear. Jamming sessions and experimentation with bass lines and drum loops have developed into live sets. Unlike many current “live” performers, Transistor Rhythm rises to the barricades of analogue revolution and brings a massive arsenal of legendary electronic musical instruments on stage. This creates a special and unique event, where improvisation, unpredictable occurrences and even coincidence plays an important role.
