Everything is techno to us, because without techno there would not be all the great dance music genres we get to enjoy today. Come dance with us again to Merikerho in Helsinki in December, as our native Finland turns 100.
My Techno Weighs A Ton (or MTWAT for short) is a record label dedicated to the best house & techno sounds of today's club music, but is not a stranger to all forms of bass music either. Run by Sharkslayer & NiQW, My Techno Weighs A Ton releases cutting edge party music ranging from techno to tech house, bass music and even jackin house. MTWAT releases have been supported by a wide range of names like Pete Tong, Claude VonStroke, A-Trak, Shiba San, Amine Edge & DANCE, Richy Ahmed, Gold Clap, Robert Armani, Vanilla Ace, Anna Lunoe, Dada Life, Steve Aoki, Laidback Luke, Tommy Trash, Don Diablo, Cedric Gervais, Wuki, Don Rimini, Gregor Salto, DJ Zinc, Hybrid Theory, AC Slater, Sinden, Jay Robinson, Astronomar and many many more.
This Merikerho event will be a bass-filled party with great DJs who have released music on labels like Ultra Music, Night Bass, This Ain’t Bristol, Audiophile XXL, Perfect Driver, Dim Mak, Main Course, Southern Fried, Box Of Cats, Nite Records, Saucy Music, Solide, and My Techno Weighs A Ton of course.
