This fall Findustry 2017 will constitute of separate club events with a genrebased focus. The first one will present some interesting new artists on the Industrial/goth scene. We have:
Mexican goth/witch house artist Ritualz
Like Banksy for synthpop, Ritualz (aka JC Lobo from Mexico City) has been turning heads for the last couple of years with a remarkably unique sound that blends shoegaze, techno, Houston chopped & screwed, mid-'90s rave music, and goth. The result is a sensual, dark, borderlinemetal style that creeps the audience out while making it want to dance. It's gothic dance music for a new generation.
Dark pop/Industrialband Ten After Dawn from Helsinki
Fusing dark, catchy pop melodies with distorted industrial and synth pop styles, Ten After Dawn is the brainchild of multi-instrumentalists Teemu Salo and Toni Viholainen, founded in 2009. Originally hailing from Imatra, Eastern Finland, both Teemu and Toni had many years experience composing, playing and gigging in heavy, grunge and Finnish language rock groups before forming Ten After Dawn.
Their first Single release “Visions” was released through macaroni Penguin Music on june 2015, which was later remixed by German Synthpop duo Solar Fake. Ten visited on their 2015 “Another Manic episode” album too with their “Fake to Be Alive” remix. Besides Finland Ten has toured in Russia and the Baltics. This spring Ten released “Melody” single plus video and an EP called “Best of Both Words”.
EBM/Dark electroband Miseria Ultima from Jyväskylä.
Miseria Ultima was formed in by Aleksi Martikainen and Kimmo Huhtala in year 2016.
The music of the band combines EBM and dark electro with a spices from other electronic music genres.
At the moment MU has published only a demo called "Unfocus" and released it as digital version in the beginning of 2017. Unfocus has been greeted with good reviews and negotiations about a record deal are well under way.
