Keski-Euroopan housen ja teknon Suomen mesenaatit, Smooth Operators, tekevät debyyttinsä Helmen tanssilattialla. Luvassa ennenkuulemattomia helmiä, joita on hartaasti kaivettu valtavirran ulottumattomista aina vinyylilaatikoille asti.
Smooth Operators
Kaksi epätodennäköistä kaverusta eri puolilta maapalloa, jotka löysivät yhteisen sävelen ulkomailla asuessaan, toinen Lontoossa ja toinen Amsterdamissa. Kaikki ovat kuulleet housesta tai siitä teknosta, mutta se mitä nämä herrat kuulivat ei vastannut näitä käsityksiä. Päällimäinen kysymys kuului, mitä tämä on ja miksi tätä ei soi Suomessa klubeilla?
Missioksi on sitemmin muodustunut nostaa Helsinki samalle tasolle muiden Euroopan tanssikapitaalien kanssa, yksi ilta kerrallaan.

Local messengers of Central European house & techno, Smooth Operators, make their debut at Helmi. Bringing the finest of their findings outside the commercial spectrum all the way down to yer dusty ol' vinyl crates.
Smooth Operators
An unlikely duo comprising of two buddies from two completely different corners of the earth, who happened to struck a unifying chord while living abroad, one in London while the other in Amsterdam. We've all heard of house and techno, but what these two heard was nowhere near these mundane conceptions. Which brought up the question, what the heck is this and why can't we hear this back home too? Therefore a mission has been set out to put Helsinki on the map of European dance capitals.
