John '00' Fleming and Shakta, two pioneers of global electronic trance music who helped shape their respective styles of music are coming to Helsinki, Finland.
John 00 Fleming is an artist who has achieved international success in a career spanning over 27 years without dishonouring his musical essence or fans. With over 10 million album sales and 30 produced mix compilations, John’s a proven musical pioneer whose essence lies in what his fans call, ‘the J00F sound’. The J00F sound is as unpretentious as the artist, and is best described as deep and textured progressively edged trance, in an electronic dance music style that is an antithesis to what is normally produced within the genre.
Shakta aka Seb Taylor is one of the original pioneers of the UK Goa trance scene. His first album 'Silicon trip' was released in 1997 and is highly regarded as one of the landmarks of the Psytrance scene in it's early years. Shakta has released his music on various different labels including Dragonfly, Flying Rhino, Transient, Phonokol, Distance Records and Suntrip. His live sets focus on the classic Shakta releases between 1995 and 1999, referred to many as the golden age of trance. Be prepared for a high-energy blast of soaring full power acidic Goa trance!
Seb Taylor is also an accomplished multi-instrumentalist and known from his other projects Kaya Project, Digitalis and Angel Tears. Seb Taylor's music has also appeared on TV shows such as Sex & the City (HBO), The West Wing, Sleeper Cell.
