Illusions Productions 15th Anniversary
Those were the days my friend, waiting for the opening of the first after hours club in Finland. You could feel the bass in your body when you entered the labyrinthine atmosphere of Lepakko, a legendary rebellious club & media centre. Dancing till sunrise, like there was no end to the weekend…
The Illusions Productions was born.
Illusions Productions has always hosted the very best DJs, such as Robert Miles, Misjah, Mark Spoon, Quivver, Andy Perring, Nigel Dawson Ian Ossia and Tracid to name a few, not forgetting Armin van Buuren – who played his first after hours gig at Illusions Productions.
Last but not least, we've had our resident DJ TAB at Illusions Productions since the beginning, and we've witnessed him become one of the best known DJs in the country. Premium sound, light and laser systems all play an important part in creating an unique event for the party crowds in Helsinki and beyond.
Throughout the years, Illusions Productions has witnessed many memorable events. With Pussy Club, another after hours club held previously at the legendary Lepakko, a 72h long non-stop party – called Pillusions – was held over the weekend for the 'funeral' of Lepakko. Also, on the first morning of new millennium, Illusions Productions was so crowded that people were literally coming through the doors, windows and even the roof.
Today Illusions Productions is held at Nosturi, Helsinki. The venue provides everything a modern, savvy clubber might expect – and more – imagine being at a club where the roof opened halfway through the party to celebrate the midday sunshine! The club carries its 15 year long history with the vibe no other club can replicate. With its current resident DJ D..N.A the club can be expected to carry the legacy proudly and keep the ambition alive that has made the club as it is today: by its focus on constant development.
Now it's time to make way for the next 15 years of Illusions Productions!
